Disc Screen / Roller Screen for solid waste sorting

Disc screen is also called roll screen or wobble feeder. It provides two functions in one unit: feeding material at a controlled rate, and scalping out the fines from the feed material. These feeders are especially good with wet, sticky materials where fines need to be scalped or are stuck to larger lumps. They also work well for scalping out materials with high percentages of clay.

Used before primary crushers, disc screen exist where others fail in situations too wet and sticky for other feeders.Thanks to the unique concept design and mode, they allow to achieve a sufficiently clean product; output products will be suitable for next crushing stage.As the transportation of the material is effected horizontally, the subsequent crusher is fed gently and constantly.
